Beechhurst bathroom remodeling

Beechhurst splits cleanly into two bathroom worlds. The co-op buildings near the water tend to hold tight three-piece baths, often a single hall bath shared by the unit, where the tub, toilet, and vanity sit along one or two walls and the plumbing stack is fixed. The detached homes inland give more room to work; second-floor baths, primary ensuites, and the occasional powder room added during a larger renovation, where moving a fixture a few feet is realistic.

Approval realities differ just as much. In a co-op, the work runs through the board and managing agent before anything starts: an alteration agreement, proof of insurance from the contractor, defined work hours, and almost always a licensed plumber on file for any change behind the wall.
